TOTAL Transportation was founded on the cornerstone concept that safety and service always work hand-in-hand. They are engines of equal horsepower that stand behind the success of our drivers and our trucking company. In today’s world, excellent service demands that our drivers and the people supporting our drivers never take their collective eyes away from following the proper safe driving practices and taking the appropriate cargo security measures.

How do we show this? We work together to get the shipments delivered safely, securely, and on time. You won’t find us taking risks that put our driver or our cargo in danger but you will find us doing everything reasonable to get shipments to their destination on time.

We’ve come a long way in our 30 years of operation. What started as a tiny terminal and only three used trucks has grown into a major national carrier in the mid-sized transportation industry.

It has not been an easy road, but our leadership is always finding innovative ways to weather economic turns. That’s why we hire passionate employees and take a streamlined business approach. We are proud to say we are more profitable now than ever before!

Today, TOTAL has three corporate terminals, multiple secure drop yards, more than 900 trucks, and a wonderful team of over 1,300 employees.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

What qualifications are required to apply?

Anyone over 18 with a CDL-A that has either no experience or over 3 months driving on their own in the last 12 months. If you are not U.S. citizen you must provide proper documentation for I-9’s to be hired. The ability to communicate in English is required.

Does TOTAL teach or pay for CDL-A training?

No, but we do have reimbursement programs available.

Do you have a sign on bonus?
  • $1,500, $500 after seating the truck and $1,000 after 30 days.
  • $7,500 (SPLIT), $750 each after 30 days and then $500 a month for 6 months. Upgraded teams get $750 each on your first check as a team. (about 30 days)
Do you hire local/solo/team/dedicated drivers?
