The quarterly safety training is a little different this year. In addition to videos from Infinit-I, there are also sessions from the National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course for the Professional Truck Driver.

The DDC-PTD is a 4-hr course broken down into 4, 1-hr sessions. The plan is to have the current fleet complete 1 session a quarter with all 4 sessions completed by the end of the 4^th quarter. The complete course is also being presented in orientation as well, so drivers hired after 02/12/18 do not have to take the online version. Trainers are required to complete all 4 sessions before taking on a new student.

For the 4th quarter, drivers have until 12/31/18 to complete all remaining sessions of the DDC-PTD as well as complete the 3 short videos listed under 4th Quarter 2018 Safety Training in Infinit-I. The 3 videos relate to driving and CSA . They are titled:

• Adverse Driving Conditions
• CSA Driver Series – Unsafe Driving BASIC
• Safe Lifting

 Drivers may begin accessing the training right away.
