In June, a team from TOTAL convened in Orange Beach, AL for our annual customer summit. The events kicked off Tuesday evening with a welcome dinner and guest speakers. TTMS invited experts from various segments of the industry to speak during the event; Sue Hensley (Executive Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs) from the American Transportation Association, Leah Shaver (COO) with The National Trucking Institute, and Bill Sullivan (Executive Vice President) of American Trucking Association.
On the customer side, we had over 50% of our revenue represented by clients in attendance. UPS, Armstrong, Wayfair, Campbell’s, Vascor, Dollar Tree, Avery Products, Tree House Brands, Tucker Company, and Resolute Forest Products were all part of the event. The customer summit is an important way for TOTAL and our customers to broaden our understanding of where our industry is headed. This is also a critical opportunity to build personal relationships with our customers and discuss ideas that will serve us well in the future. Each year we plan fun and memorable events for our attendees. It’s a lot of work but it is very much worth it to TOTAL.
