Total Transportation of MS, LLC has a job opening available in the Tractor Technician II at our Jackson, MS Terminal.

The qualified applicant will perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter changes, and fluid changes. Repair air conditioning, including Freon, parts, compressor, and leaks. Perform routine DOT inspections. Perform open seat inspections to prepare tractor for next driver. The qualified applicant will also assist in transmission and engine diagnostic test and drive truck in and out of shop before and after repairs.

High school diploma preferred and 2 – 3 years tractor experience. DOT, AC, and brake certifications required. Valid Driver’s License required and basic computer skills preferred. Must provide own hand tools (end wrenches, sockets, ratchets, etc).

Notice OF JOB OPENING

Total Transportation of MS LLC has a job opening available for a Fleet Manager (Dedicated Department) at a site location in Loudon, TN location.

The Fleet Manager is responsible for supervising and developing all drivers for assigned accounts, addressing customer service issues or complaints, and all shipments to meet the customer’s needs and demands. The Supervisor will maximize revenue per tractor through appropriate equipment utilization, as well as, document and communicate all service-related issues. Track and work with the customer(s) to receive assigned lanes and commitment levels from shipping locations including responsibility for the ETA of the trucks at each stop. Inform drivers of their assigned schedules and loads.

The qualified applicant must possess any combination of education or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum of 3 years of high volume operational experience required and a minimum of 1-year leadership experience required.
